Delhi Institute of Palliative Services (hereinafter called DIPS) is an autonomous body primarily aimed at improving opioid availability for pain relief, at delivery of quality palliative care to the needy and at palliative care education. Through DIPS we   provide free treatment to the poor (For this purpose, any one holding a Government- issued BPL (Below the Poverty Line) card or income certificate, even if not holding such a card, who has been found by a screening system established by DIPS to be deserving free treatment will be considered poor and deserving free treatment) and at 50% subsidized rates to those with monthly income of Rs 20000 (on screening). DIPS in collaboration with Ansari Hospital in Delhi provides In-Patient facility to those in need of hospital admission.

 Also, Delhi Institute of Palliative Services follows standards for palliative care delivery by its own clinical services and makes them available to other palliative care services in the country through our tele-health consultation. Pal Care Foundation also runs the home based services through DIPS for the patients who are disabled/bedridden with support from Medirise. We have also collaborated with Sahara Diagnostics to ensure smooth and quality home based sample collection in the Delhi/NCR region.
